THE BLACK LOAFERS

THE BLACK LOAFERS

Spring is still going strong and it's wonderful, but at the same time I found myself in a footwear rut.

I realised that I don't have transitional shoes. I have enough shoes to tackle the coldest and warmest days of the year. But other than my sneakers from the previous post I don't own shoes that are meant to be worn in spring or autumn. You know that weird time when it's still not warm enough or it's way too cold to have your toes out - well I hate that time.

I think you have already figured it out by now, but you won't see me in high heels much. I remember even back a few years ago I had this vision of myself running around Budapest in Louboutins. As years passed by I had to admit that I'm more for comfort and I'm fine with that. But when it comes to shoe shopping since I don't wear heels it gets a bit more tricky.

So back to spring shoes. No heels, I already have trainers so what else is out there that is comfortable enough to wear daily? Loafers. Not the Gucci ones though.

The black loafers in the picture are from Mango. The Spanish brands are a bitch when it comes to sizing. Miraculously I tried them on in store and my regular 38 was fine and I am a happy owner of these black loafers ever since.

What is your choice of footwear for the transitional season?

I'm wearing: NEXT trench coat; COS T-shirt; H&M jeans; MANGO loafers and bag.
